Gassville, Cotter, and Buford firemen responded to a house fire Thursday afternoon at 213 West Main Street in Gassville behind Van Thomas Auto Sales.
Preliminary information indicates the home was fully engulfed when firemen were dispatched to the scene and emergency personnel from Baxter Regional Medical Center were dispatched for treatment of a female injured in the fire.
No further details have been made available.
The intial request for aid went out to Gassville and Cotter firemen about 1:45. About an hour later, a call for additional manpower went out to Buford firemen.
Firemen returned to quarters shortly after 4.
