Tuesday schedule includes Senior Day festivities for MHHS baseball, softball

High school baseball and softball make up much of the local Tuesday schedule.

The Mountain Home will have its Senior Day activities as they welcome Greenbrier to McClain Park for a 5A-West doubleheader. The first game at Pitts Field is scheduled for 4:30.

The 1A-2 District Baseball Tournament will get underway at West Side High School in Greers Ferry. Calico Rock faces Concord at 1, and Norfork takes on Rural Special at 3:30.

Salem’s baseball team will continue action in the 3A-2 District Tournament at Walnut Ridge. The Greyhounds play Cave City at 4.

The Mammoth Spring baseball team will be in Marked Tree for its opener in the 1A-3 District Tournament. The Bears will be paired with the host Indians at 4.

Elsewhere, Bakersfield travels to Dora, Gainesville hosts Mansfield, Harrison makes the trip to Russellville for a doubleheader, and Omaha meets Alpena at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison.

Tuesday will also be Senior Day for Mountain Home’s softball team as they will have a varsity doubleheader with Greenbrier. The first game at Freedom Field starts at 4:30.

The 1A-2 District Softball Tournament begins at West Side High School in Greers Ferry. Norfork and Rural Special get underway at 1, and the winner faces Viola at 5. Calico Rock takes on West Side at 3.

In other softball, Cotter heads to Flippin, Gainesville travels to Ava, Dora makes the trip to Mansfield, Marshall heads to Valley Springs, Lead Hill entertains Ozark Mountain, and Harrison travels to Russellville for a doubleheader.
