Two of the Mountain Home MacLeod American Legion baseball team’s pitchers combined for a no-hitter on Monday. Will Morris was the winning pitcher, and Erik Foster was also on the mound for MacLeod as they dominated Springdale 10-1 at Cooper Park.
Morris and Foster also contributed at the plate two hits and two runs each. Koen Bickford had a hit and two RBIs; and Eli Jones had two hits, a run and an RBI.
Monday’s game was originally scheduled to be the home finale for Mountain Home’s junior squad, but two more outings have been added to the schedule next week.
