FEMA to close Boone County disaster recovery center Tuesday

One of the disaster recovery centers set up in the area by the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be closing. The center at the Boone County Government Building in Harrison will shut down Tuesday afternoon at 4.

The center at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Summit reopened for appointments on Saturday. It will be available for walk-ins Tuesday from 10 to 4.

Two walk-in centers remain open in Baxter and Fulton counties. The centers at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas in Mountain Home and the Fulton County Courthouse in Salem are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 to 4 each day.
