State police investigate Jefferson County hit and run that killed a 19-year-old woman

State police continue to investigate a Jefferson County hit and run that occurred in Pine Bluff on July 3rd.

Reports say that 19-year-old Kalei Owen of Bentonville ran from the woods and into the roadway on Interstate 530 in Jefferson County where she was struck and killed about 10 p.m. that night. The vehicle that struck Owen is said to have been a red Honda, though the exact model is unknown. It would most likely have damage to the front, passenger side and would be missing a fog light.

The vehicle was last seen at around 10:00 p.m. as it headed north on I-530 near exit 27.
