A garage fire caused total damage to the structure along with a nearby RV Thursday morning at a residence along Cone Street.
According to the incident report from the Mountain Home Fire Department,the alarm came at approximately 11:11 to the residence along Cone Street owned by Roger VanDerert. The fire was reported to start in the garage and had caught the RV on fire. Both structures sustained 100% damage.
Fifteen personnel were on the scene for approximately and hour and five minutes with two engine companies, a ladder company, a rescue unit, two support vehicles and two on standby. The incident is currently under investigation.
