Bomber Volleyball sees mixed results against Brookland and Salem

Monday evening was a busy night for the Bomber volleyball program with six teams in play at the Hangar. Facing off against Brookland and Salem the Mountain Home teams saw mixed results throughout the evening.The 7th grade Gold team won its two matches against Salem with duplicate scores of 25-10. The Blue team also won their matches with the Greyhounds with scores of 25-6 and 25-9.

The junior high varsity team was the first to face Brookland and lost with scores of 25-18, 18-25 and 14-16. Violet Daughterty had 10 assists and 11 digs while Eliana Pepin had 10 kills and 8 digs.

Facing Salem, the junior high junior varsity team won 2 out of 3 sets with scores of 25-14, 8-25 and 15-5. For the Bombers Marlee Dewey had 4 kills, 5 blocks, 2 digs and Landry Litty had 4 kills, 2 blocks, 5 digs, 5 aces.

The Lady Bombers faced Salem in the junior varsity game and won with scores of 26-24 and 27-25. Deanna Human had 5 kills, 4 blocks. Aspen Vostatek posted 2 kills, 1 block, 5 digs, Ava Jones 10 assists, 3 kills and Kenna Medley had 6 digs.

The final match of the evening saw the Lady Bearcats defeat the Lady Bombers but it took 5 hard fought sets to finish the night. Final scores for Mountain Home where 25-22, 25-13, 20-25, 25-21 and 15-10. Anna McCarn had 12 kills, 5 blocks, 6 digs, Daelyn Harper had 11 kills, 3 blocks and Micayla Magis had 5 kills, 2 blocks, 10 assists, 5 digs.
