PCSH is one of the four support houses at Baxter Regional that will benefit from your contributions made to the2011 Lend-a-Hand Campaign beong held on Tuesday, October 25th! Tune in to KTLO/97.9 from 6a to 12N, and make your donation! Or vivit the remote from 11a to 2p that day, on the parking lot of the four community support house, across from the BRMC emergency room!

Located in the yellow building across the parking lot from the Cline Emergency Center, on the corner of Hospital Drive and Powers St. Open Mon. - Fri., 9a-4p; for information, call 508-CARE

Some of the services offered:
*20 support group meetings a month
*Free wigs, hats, scarves and prostheses
*Support sessions by cosmetologists
*Resource library
*Educational seminars on nutrition, physical activity, and early detection and prevention of cancer
*Lymphedema outreach - patients may qualify for garments to help control symptoms and complications due to the swelling that is common after cancer-related treatments
*Mobile Mammography Unit - licensed mammographers perform screenings, and certified radiologists read films taken on trips out into surrounding communities, for the convenience of women who work or live long distances from BRMC, at a nominal fee or funded by grants for qualified persons
