Hospice of the Ozarks at Baxter Regional

Hospice of the Ozarks office is located at 701 Burnett Drive, behind Baxter Regional. They can be reached at 508-1771 in Mtn. Home, or at 1-800-711-9596 from Marion County. Established in 1979, the Mtn. Home facility serves Baxter and Marion counties, and is approved by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. Services are provided without regard to ability to pay.

Hospice of the Ozarks is the only non-profit organization of its type in the area, and is dedicated to making every day the best it can be for patients and their families facing that most difficult of times, the end of an earthly journey.

The hospice concept focuses on caring for people and ensuring their comfort, with nursing and personal care, medical supplies and equipment, pain control, social services and counseling, spiritual support and bereavement assistance, transportation, and support for families and loved ones. Special programs such as Pet Peace of Mind even help ease concern about a beloved pet’s future.

The Hospice House residential and acute care facility is a 12-bed, 14,000 sq. ft. facility located on the BRMC campus at 744 Long St. Call 508-1220 to ask about visiting the facility.
