Kenneth Eulys "Heavy" Loggains, 83, Melbourne

     Funeral services for 83 year old Kenneth Eulys "Heavy" Loggins will be Thursday morning at 10 at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne. Burial will be at Pratt Cemetery in Lunenburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
     Kenneth Eulys "Heavy" Loggains was a car dealer. He was an accomplished musician and in his younger years he broadcast a country music radio show from a Batesville AM radio station. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
     He is survived locally by his wife, Betty Jo; two sons, Mike Loggains of Harrison and Kenny Loggains of Mt. Pleasant; two step-daughters, Donna Blankenship and Phyllis Harmon, both of Melbourne; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; and his first wife and mother of his two sons, Mary Haley Loggains of Melbourne.
