LOCAL GYMNASTS CLAIM STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES
The Gymnastics Unlimited competition team recently completed their 2011/12 season with six athletes competing at the Arkansas State Gymnastics Championships in Little Rock. The team of 23 athletes began their season on December 9, 2011 at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville for the Santa Invitational. They also attended the All Star Classic in Jonesboro on January 23rd, the Hopes and Dreams Invitational in Fayetteville on February 22nd, and the River City Classic in Little Rock on March 3rd before finishing with the State Championships on March 23rd. Two athletes claimed the title of State Champion, Kinsey Raley of Mountain Home placing first on the vault and Makenzie Lester of Bakersfield, MO, placing first on the balance beam.
