JOHNSON SIGNS WITH LYON COLLEGE

Another area high-school athlete is preparing to continue her career in college. Calico Rock senior Emily Johnson has signed a national letter of intent to play golf at Lyon College in Batesville.
Johnson was an All-State golfer as a Lady Pirate, and she won the individual Class 1A state championship during her junior year. Also as a junior, Johnson was a member of the Calico Rock girls' basketball team that won the 2011 state title.
