Armed Service Members honored at the Plaza 2000

A large crowd attended the annual Memorial Day Service commemorating those armed service members from Mountain Home who were killed in war. This year's event was hosted by the local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans at the downtown Plaza 2000. The featured guest speaker was First Lieutenant Robert McCoy of the 224th Maintenance Company of the Arkansas Army National Guard. McCoy is also a corporal with the Mountain Home Police Department. Dan Hall, commander of the DAV, served as emcee and music was by Bill Burns.
