This past Saturday, 50 Twin Lakes area youth were treated to a very special day. The Brandon Burlswoth Foundation invited the youth to the Razorfest event and be honored at half-time of the Arkansas Red-White football game by being recognized on the 50 yard line of the field and on the giant television. Youth were allowed access to the V.I.P. area where they were able to enjoy a full buffet that included chicken wings, sandwiches, cookies, and much more. They then moved to the vendor area where there were all kinds of games and giveaways for the youth to enjoy. After the day’s events youth watched the 2010 Razorbacks in a scrimmage exhibition. The youth were extremely grateful for the trip, personally thanking Vickie and Marty Burlsworth for the day and also for all that they do. Vickie Burlsworth, Foundation Director, said “this day was truly a blessed day,” when describing how everything was falling into place for the youth on this very special day.
The trip was coordinated by Baxter County Dayspring Services and Baxter County Juvenile Services along with a few private volunteers and sponsored by the Baxter County Razorback Club.
