MHHS ART STUDENTS ACCEPTED INTO ART COMPETITIONS

Five Mountain Home High School art students have been accepted into the Northeast Regional Art Competition, sponsored by the Arkansas Art Education Association. Awards were presented at a reception this week at the Jonesboro Sun Atrium, where the exhibit is being held.
Mountain Home High School Art Teacher Beth Ivens has a rundown on the students and their accomplishment.

     The Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition showcases artwork by Arkansas students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Members of the Arkansas Art Educators Association jury entries for the competition. Of more than 600 works submitted annually, only about 125 are selected for exhibition.
