Flippin High School Homecoming

The Flippin High School NHS has scheduled an evening with the theme “Avenger Time” for the Flippin High School Homecoming ceremony on Friday, October 19, 2012, in the Flippin High School Gymnasium.

Maids have been elected by the student body, and escorts have been chosen by the maids. Freshman Maid Jordan Wallace will be escorted by Justin Wallace. Freshman Maid Megan Coatney will be escorted by Chris Coatney. Sophomore Maid Kendra Carter will be escorted by Josh Rogers. Sophomore Maid Amanda Wilson will be escorted by Brenton Butcher. Junior Maid Chelsea Whitman will be escorted by Trevor Marberry. Junior Maid Ashley Lack will be escorted by Dale Curtis. Senior Maid Erin Hemme will be escorted by Skyler King. Senior Maid Bayley Politte will be escorted by Kristian Kopacz. Senior Maid Lexi Potter will be escorted by Marcus Ragsdale.

The flower girl will be Emma Lane and the crown bearer is James Randall. Emma and James are first graders at Flippin Elementary School.

The Homecoming parade, which is sponsored by Student Council, will begin at 2:00 p.m. The parade route will begin at the high school and continue down Main Street ending at Eighth Street. The basketball games begin at 5:00 p.m.with the senior girls followed by the junior boys. The coronation ceremony will follow the junior boys’ game at approximately 7:00 p.m. Festivities will conclude with the senior boys’ basketball team facing the Cotter Warriors and after the last game Student Council will be hosting a dance for students and alumni. Admission to the dance is free.
