Local girl scouts surprise local residents with random acts of Christmas kindness

     Local Twin Lakes residents are being surprised and "RACKED" by Girl Scouts from Troop 5126 in Mountain Home who are performing "Random Acts of Christmas Kindness" for 25 days leading up to Christmas. Troop Leader Jamie Bohannon says she found the idea on a mother's internet blog and brought it to her troop.

     For the first of the 25 days of "Random Acts of Christmas Kindness" the girls made scarves, according to Girl Scout Loren Bohannon.

     On day two the scouts taped candy canes to ATMs around town. On day three the girls had poinsettia's delivered anonymously to favorite teachers and on the fourth day the girls made banana bread which they gave to the church where they hold their meetings.
     On day five the scouts surprised representatives from local businesses and media outlets including Debby Stanuch at KTLO and Classic Hits 101.7, says Troop Leader Bohannon.

     The Girl Scouts from Troop 5126 will continue to surprise local residents for the next 20 days leading up to Christmas.
