Mallett signs with UCA

     A football player from Yellville-Summit has signed to continue playing in college. Stockton Mallett recently signed a national letter of intent to join the football team at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
     Mallett explains the reasons he decided to become a Bear.

     Mallett is coming off a season in which he helped lead Yellville-Summit to a share of the 3A-1 conference championship. As a lineman for the Panthers, he was named to the Class 3A All-State team, and he will take part in the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game Friday, June 21st, at UCA's Estes Stadium.
     Mallett said he is in frequent contact with Bears head coach Clint Conque and his staff, and they have suggested that he could make an immediate impact on the team.
