Another local standout athlete has made the decision to continue his career in college. Mountain Home High School senior Ben Ritcheson signed a national letter of intent to run track and cross country at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Ritcheson stated he chose to become a Red Wolf after talking with a former high-school teammate who transferred to ASU from Christian Brothers University.

Ritcheson is about to begin his last season as a member of the Bomber track team. A few months ago, he helped lead Mountain Home's cross country squad to their second consecutive Class 6A state championship, and he finished fifth individually. He is also a part of the Bomber wrestling team.
Ritcheson added that he is expected to make an impact on the collegiate level as he did in high school.
