The Flippin Fire Department has announced they have postponed their annual fireworks set for Tuesday evening until Labor Day weekend. The department said the decision to postpone the fireworks was made due to the hot an dry conditions. The decision to postpone the annual event also includes the live music and other activities associated with the annual fireworks.
The city of Flippin earlier this week issued a ban on the discharging of fireworks due to the outdoor burn ban.
