Twenty-five hundred dollars was raised for this year's Red, White, Blue Festival in Mountain Home during a four-hour radiothon held on KTLO AM, FM and Classic Hits 101.7 this morning and event organizers say there are still plenty of ways you can donate.
Those who would still like to contribute as part of the radiothon can do so by calling KTLO at 425-3101 or the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce at 425-5111, or by dropping off a check.
Also, you can donate by purchasing tickets for the Jewels For You pendant giveaway, sponsored by the Carter's Jewel Chest. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and may be purchased at Carter's Jewel Chest, the Mountain Home Chamber, at local banks or on the festival grounds the night of the Red, White, Blue fireworks on Saturday, June 30th. The pendant is a four in one pendant with diamonds, rubies and sapphires.
Proceeds from today's radiothon and all other donations go to help cover festival costs, which include a $25,000 expense for fireworks.
Donations may also be made at the information booth at the festival on Friday or Saturday next week.
