The Mountain Home high-school basketball teams will hit the road for their first action in a week. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be in Little Rock for a matchup with Central.
Mountain Home's girls come into tonight's in a four-way tie for second place in the 7A/6A-East. The Lady Bombers are 12-4 on the season and 2-1 in league play. Central leads the conference at 11-4 and 3-0.
The Mountain Home boys are currently 6-9 overall and 1-2 in the conference. Central is still looking for its first league victory. The Tigers are 3-8 and 0-3.
The junior varsity boy's game tips off at five p.m. The varsity contests will begin around 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7.
Elsewhere in the 7A/6A-East, Searcy travels to Jonesboro, Cabot makes the trip to West Memphis, and North Little Rock hosts Marion.
In other high-school basketball, Cotter heads to Imboden to face Sloan-Hendrix, Norfork entertains Hillcrest, Flippin is home against Valley Springs, Yellville-Summit hosts Mountain View, Bruno-Pyatt travels to Alpena, Viola makes the trip to Brockwell to take on Izard County, Mammoth Spring's boys entertain Dora, the Bakersfield boys head to Gainesville, Calico Rock travels to Bergman, Melbourne is home against Marshall, Timbo makes the trip to Shirley, and Jasper hosts Mount Judea.
