TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) _ Dawon Cummings' 3-pointer early in the second half
gave Indiana State its first lead Wednesday night and the Sycamores went on to
beat Missouri State 68-60.
Cummings, Manny Arop, Justin Gant and Devonte Brown all finished with 10 points
for Indiana State (11-6, 4-2 Missouri Valley). Cummings' 3 with 16:29 left put
the Sycamores ahead 37-36 and they kept the lead the rest of the way, going up
by 14 points with 3:38 to go.
The Sycamores shot 57 percent for the game.
Gavin Thurman scored 18 points to lead the Bears (5-13, 3-3). Missouri State
led 27-18 with 3:50 left in the first half but Indiana State trimmed it to 31-27
at halftime.
Anthony Downing had 12 points and a game-high seven rebounds for Missouri
State.
