The Mountain Home high school swim team traveled to Siloam Springs last night. Final results of the meet are not available but Mountain Home had several top finishers.
On the girl's side, the Lady Bombers won the 200 medley relay. Carly Arp set new school records in the 100 and 200 freestyles and Mackenzie Mohler finished second in the butterfly and was third in the 200 individual medley.
On the boy's side, Grant Conner had a state qualifying time in the 100 freestyle.
The Mountain Home swim team travels to Cabot Thursday.
In high school basketball last night, the Gainesville girls lost to Alton 62-47. Madison Strong led the Lady Bulldogs with 17 points and Tali Rose added 12. The Gainesville girls are 7-8 on the season and will host Mansfield Thursday night.
On the junior high level, Mountain Home lost two of three girl's games at home to Harrison. Harrison won the 9th grade game 32-16. In the 8th grade game, Harrison topped Mountain Home 47-39.
Mountain Home's 7th grade girls beat Harrison's 8th grade "B" team 29-13 to improve to 8-2 on the season.
Mountain Home lost a pair of junior boy's games at Harrison. Harrison won the 9th grade boy's game 38-28. Austin Jacobelli scored 13 for the Junior Bombers.
In the 8th grade boy's game, Harrison defeated Mountain Home 31-20. David LaRue scored 10 for Mountain Home.
The Yellville-Summit junior boys defeated Valley Springs 40-26. Logan Lynch led the way with 18 points and Nick Allen had a double double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
The Junior Panthers are now 10-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
