
A one vehicle crash on County Road 604 Saturday morning sent 52-year-old David Pinsky, of Cotter, to Baxter Regional Medical Center. According to a collision report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s office the 9:33 accident occurred while Pinsky’s vehicle was westbound on County Road 604 near the address of 1237.
Pinsky failed to negotiate a curve, left the road on the south side and ran into a tree approximately 68 feet from the road. Pinsky said he didn’t see the curve and according to the report he was not impaired. The airbag to the car was deployed and he had to be transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center by ambulance with incapacitating injury. A spokesperson from the hospital said he was treated and released the same day.
Pinsky was cited for careless or prohibited driving and not wearing a seatbelt.
