Tracy area firefighters responded to a fire around 8:45 Sunday evening, which took place near County Road 69 and County Road 672 on Windsong Place. A single level home was completely involved, according to Tracy Area Volunteer Fire Department Chief Rusty Rosen, and was a total loss. No one was home when the fire took place and the cause is still under investigation. The Tracy Fire Department received mutual aid from Buford Community and Salesville Volunteer Fire Departments. Firefighters worked until approximately 1:30 Monday morning to extinguish the blaze.
At approximately 9:21 Monday morning Baxter County 911 dispatched Tracy Area firefighters to the same scene once again because the fire had rekindled.
