Catlin Bridgers of Gassville was sentenced to three years in prison after admitting that he had violated the terms and conditions of his probation.
The sentence was handed down during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.
The 30-year-old Bridgers was put on probation for 10 years in March 2012 after being convicted of possessing methamphetamine and marijuana.
A petition to revoke his probation was filed early last month alleging that he had moved to a new address without notifying authorities, failed to pay supervision fees and avoided contact with his probation officer.
14th Judicial District Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Kerry Chism said the prison time was being recommended because Bridgers’ actions had shown that “he’s just not doing very well on probation”. Chism told the court that this “was the third or fourth revocation” filed against the Gassville man.
