
U. S. Army Pfc. Pablo J. Rios, Jr. has recently graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina according to the Joint Hometown News Service of the Defense Media Activity.
During the nine weeks of training Rios studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. He received instruction and practice in physical fitness, rifle marksmanship and bayonet use, chemical warfare, unarmed combat, drill and ceremony, marching map reading, military courtesy, basic first aid, field tactics and the military justice system.
A 2010 graduate of Mountain Home High School with an associate degree earned in 2016 from Miami Dade College, Rios is the son of Edit A. Rios of Hialeah, Florida.
