In high school basketball, the 3A-1 East Conference Tournament will wrap up its opening round in Mountain View. In the girls’ games, top-seeded Valley Springs tips off against Green Forest at four p.m., and Melbourne faces the host Lady Yellowjackets at 7:00. On the boys’ side, the number one seed from Marshall takes on Green Forest at 5:30, and Melbourne meets Valley Springs at 8:30.
Timbo’s boys will head to Greers Ferry for their first game in the 1A-2 South Conference Tournament at West Side High School. The Tigers play South Side-Bee Branch at 7:45.
Both of Western Grove’s teams will be in action at the 1A-1 East Conference Touranment at North Arkansas College’s Pioneer Pavilion in Harrison. The Lady Warriors take the court at 6:00 against Deer, and the Western Grove boys will be paired with Mount Judea at 7:15.
Elsewhere, Bakersfield’s boys travel to Dora, and the Gainesville boys host Hartville.
