The 6A East Conference Tournament brackets are set following the seeding meeting of the coaches in Searcy Wednesday morning.
On the girl’s side, Mountain Home is the number three seed which means they will host a first round game on Saturday. The Lady Bombers will take on Searcy, the number six seed. That means those teams will play twice in less than 48 hours as they square off Thursday night in Searcy in the regluar season finale and then play at 4:00 Saturday afternoon at Bomber Gymnasium in the conference tournament.
Jonesboro got the number one seed on the girl’s side while Marion is seeded second.
On the boy’s side, Mountain Home is seeded seventh. The Bombers will travel to second seeded West Memphis Saturday afternoon for a 3:30 start.
Jonesboro is seeded number one on the boy’s side as well.
All first round games of the 6A East Conference Tournament will be played Saturday. Second round games will be next Tuesday with the higher seeded team hosting. The final round of games will be played Saturday, February 25th. The top six teams from the tournament advance to the Class 6A State Tournament at Lake Hamilton High School.
