The regular season comes to an end Thursday for the Mountain Home High School basketball teams. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be on the road as they take on Searcy.
Mountain Home’s girls are 15-11 on the season and 8-3 in the 6A/5A-2 after invoking the mercy rule on Greenbrier Tuesday. Searcy is 8-17 and 2-9 as they come off a 30-point loss to Batesville. The Lady Bombers topped the Lady Lions 44-28 on January 24th.
The Mountain Home boys are 9-16 overall and 4-7 in the district after getting edged out by Greenbrier two nights back. Searcy beat Batesville to improve to 8-17 and 2-9. The Bombers had a 51-42 victory over Searcy nearly a month ago.
The junior varsity games tip off at five p.m. The varsity contests begin around 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
