The Rock City Regional will host 51 teams from 11 different states. There is also a team from Mexico attending the event. The regional will start on Thursday and the teams will attend practice matches, as well as robot inspections. On Friday, there will be the qualification matches. On Saturday, there will be more qualification matches before lunch, followed by the finals. The Bomb Squad has previously won the regional twice.
The Rock City Regional is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend the event and help support the team. If you are unable to attend, starting Friday the event on the regional will be streaming live on their website, www.frcteam16.org.
