Eddie Majeste, the former CEO and President of the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, has announced he will be joining the Arkansas Economic Development Commission as Program Manager in the 12.5 county area of Eastern Arkansas. In his new position, he says, he will be working on progress and expansion with businesses and industries in that region.

Majeste will begin his new position in Little Rock March 20th and says he and his wife Lisa, will be relocating to Central Arkansas.

In early November of last year, Majeste was relieved of his duties and the chamber board of directors consolidated the CEO and Executive Director Economic Developer into a single position. Jeff Pipkin joined the chamber in that role in early January.
