Reprise RecordsThe home video companion to Eric Clapton‘s recently released Live in San Diego album hit stores today. Available now on DVD and Blu-ray, Live in San Diego with Special Guest JJ Cale features footage from the same March 2007 show at the iPayOne Center documented for the audio collection, which was released as a two-CD and three-LP vinyl set in September.

At the concert, Clapton and his touring band played a variety of original tunes and blues covers. During the show, the guitar legend was joined by friend and collaborator JJ Cale for a set of his own compositions, including renditions of the Clapton hits “Cocaine” and “After Midnight,” and three songs from the two musicians’ 2006 collaborative album, The Road to Escondido. To bring the concert to a close, Robert Cray, who was Clapton’s opening act on his 2007 tour, hit the stage for a performance of the Robert Johnson classic “Crossroads.”

The Live in San Diego video also includes bonus footage of Clapton and Cale rehearsing two songs for the concert — “Anyway the Wind Blows” and “Who Am I Telling You?” Cale passed away in 2013.

You can check out several video clips from the concert at Clapton’s official YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Clapton is scheduled to play four U.S. concerts later this month. The shows will take place March 19 and 20 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and March 25 and 26 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Slowhand will return to the States in September for four more shows at the same two venues — on September 7 and 8 at Madison Square Garden, and September 15 and 16 at The Forum.
