The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Boone County, according to highway and transportation department officials.
APAC-Central, Inc. of Fayetteville was awarded the contract at $684,955 to resurface 3.7 miles of State Highway 14 from State Highway 65 east to the city of Omaha.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting, with completion expected mid-2017.
