
The Twin Lakes Chapter of Arkansas Volunteer Coordinators Association will meet Monday afternoon at 1:30 in the Knox Community Room A at the Donald W. Reynolds Library.
Local volunteer managers will have an opportunity to preview a new tool to promote volunteerism at the meeting. Angie Dalton, program coordinator with Community Connections for Youth and Families, Inc. will present a proposed website that would serve as a hub for Mountain Home and surrounding communities to find volunteer opportunities. AVCA members would be able to list their organizations volunteer needs on the website at no charge.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in volunteerism.
AVCA is a professional organization for volunteer managers, non-profits and anyone interested in the field of volunteerism. The Twin Lakes Chapter encompasses Baxter and Marion Counties and meet the second Monday of each month at 1:30 at the library.
