The new version of the classic board game, which was created with input from band members Brian May and Roger Taylor, will give players the chance to visit and own famous venues that Queen played during its rise to rock stardom.

Monopoly: Queen Edition features six collectible tokens inspired by the band, as well as “house” and “hotel” pieces designed by May. The properties on the board include such venues as Imperial College, where Queen played its first concert in 1970, and Knebworth Park, the site of the group’s last-ever show with Freddie Mercury in 1986.

Other game features include the “A Kind of Magic” and “In the Lap of the Gods” cards, which can help players’ careers, or get them in trouble.

“I think fans will be enchanted by the depth of detail in this special Queen edition of an already well-loved game,” says May in a statement. “We have subtly morphed the traditional property-developing journey of Monopoly into the real-life adventure of a rock band on the road. Players will plot a whole career, based on developing bigger and better shows in venues all around the globe. Join us and conquer the World!!!”

You can pre-order Monopoly: Queen Edition now at Queen’s online store and WinningMoves.co.uk.
