Navi as Michael Jackson (Deadra Bryant/A+E Networks)After giving fans a sneak peek earlier this month, Lifetime is sharing the full trailer for its upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland.
The movie, which will be told through the eyes of MJ’s bodyguards Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard, is based on the two men’s 2014 best-selling book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days.
In the trailer, the two guards are asked if Dr. Conrad Murray killed Jackson. After they explain that they were not present during the night he died, the promo flashes back to images of the singer in his final years.
In the biopic, the late King of Pop is played by Navi, a prominent Michael Jackson impersonator. Chad L. Coleman plays Whitefield and Sam Adegoke plays Beard.
Michael Jackson: Searching For Neverland premieres May 29 on Lifetime.
