Bull Shoals-White River State Park is offering an Adventurer’s Nature Camp to local youth. Children ages ten to 12 will have an opportunity to discover the wonders of the outdoors through various activities including camping, hiking, fishing, crafting and nature programming.
The camp is scheduled for July 17th through 19th from nine to three each day with an overnight stay on July 18th. July 14th will be the deadline to register.
The cost is $75 per child. Kids will be carefully supervised by the park interpreter and volunteers. Parents are welcome as volunteers or for the Tuesday overnight stay. For more information, call 870-445-3629 or send an email to julie.lovett@arkansas.gov or stewart.taylor@arkansas.gov.
