Three candidates were interviewed Tuesday evening for a vacant position on the Flippin School Board. The vacant seat on the board was created with the death of Steve Eastwold in December.
A spokesperson for the school district said Dr. Bob Cogburn, Brent Mitchell and Shane Nix were interviewed in the special board meeting Tuesday.
A decision on filling the vacancy is expected to be made in a special board meeting Thursday evening.
The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting is set for January 22nd.
