A Calico Rock man currently on probation, 23-year-old Chase Loosey, was arrested last week on felony possession of drug paraphernalia charges after he was clocked going 56 miles-per-hour in a 40 mile-per-hour zone by a Baxter County Deputy. He was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond and released the same day.According to the arrest report, after he was pulled over in the area of the 700 block of Baxter County Road 215 Loosey allegedly admitted to the officer he knew he was going too fast and his vehicle’s registration was overdue.

The deputy noticed the odor of marijuana coming out of the vehicle.
