MHHS basketball teams return home to face Morrilton

High school basketball makes up much of the local Friday schedule as Mountain Home returns to the home floor. The Bombers and Lady Bombers are set to welcome Morrilton to the Hangar.
Mountain Home’s girls are currently 7-9 on the season and 2-0 in the 6A/5A-2. The Lady Bombers suffered a six-point loss a week ago at Vilonia. Morrilton is 13-5 and 1-2. The Lady Devil Dogs beat up on Searcy on Tuesday.
The Mountain Home boys are 7-9 overall and 2-0 in district play. The Bombers defeated Vilonia last Friday for their fifth win in six games. Morrilton is 14-5 and 3-0. The Devil Dogs came away with an eight-point victory over Searcy three nights ago.
Their is no J.V. game. The varsity contests begin around 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Elsewhere in the 6A/5A-2, Batesville travels to Vilonia, and Searcy hosts Greenbrier.

In other high school basketball, Cotter entertains Izard County, Norfork is home against Viola, Flippin hosts Calico Rock, Yellville-Summit makes the trip to Valley Springs, Gainesville’s boys entertain Dora, Lutie heads to Chadwick, Salem is home against Mammoth Spring, the Melbourne boys host Highland, St. Joe travels to Jasper, Marshall entertains Green Forest, Timbo is home against Rural Special, Mountain View makes the trip to Rose Bud, Bergman hosts Johnson County Westside, Omaha entertains Decatur, and Western Grove is home against Eureka Springs.
