52 students from the Mountain Home Band Program were selected to the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association Region Six All-Region Honor Band. The students participated in competitive auditions in Harrison last weekend, with over 1,100 students from the region.Mountain Home Band Director Tom Chentnik has this report.

20 Students were selected from Mountain Home Junior High.

26 students were selected from the high school.

All the students are headed to Bentonville West this weekend to participate in rehearsals in four honor bands, two for the junior high and two for the high school. They will perform in concerts beginning at 2:00 Saturday afternoon.

Chentnik says he is proud of all band members who practiced, worked hard and put forth their best effort.
The public is reminded to save the date for the annual pancake supper to be held February 22nd in the Mountain Home High School Cafeteria. Chentnik says details about the event will be released soon.
