Dora’s high school boys will be in Ozark to compete in the Scoreboard Guy Shootout. The Falcons meet Aurora at 5:30.
Elsewhere on the high school level, Gainesville hosts Morrisville.
The Izard County Invitational Basketball Tournament begins at Izard County High School in Brockwell with four junior high games on the opening day. In girls’ action, the host Junior Lady Cougars tip off against Rural Special at 4 p.m., and Calico Rock faces Mountain View at 6:30. On the boys’ side, Mammoth Spring meets Rural Special at 5:15, and Melbourne takes on Cave City at 7:45. The first senior high games of the tournament will be played on Monday.
Both of Mountain Home’s seventh graders will be in tournament play at Cave City. The girls meet Southside Batesville at 10 a.m., and the boys take on Melbourne at 4:00.
