Rain is expected to linger throughout the Twin Lakes Area through Sunday, with a slight chance of light freezing rain later Wednesday afternoon. It’s anticipated the freezing rain will have more of an impact on all of southern Missouri. A winter weather advisory is in effect for that area beginning at 3:00 Wednesday afternoon until 10:00 Thursday morning.A flood watch is in affect for north central Arkansas through Thursday morning and a flood warning exists for Ozark, Howell and Eastern Douglas Counties until 10:30 this morning.

As we go through the next couple of days the cold air will move out. High temperatures Thursday are expected to be in the 50’s increasing to a high of 60 degrees Friday.
Rain chances come back in to the forecast Thursday and Friday as well, with another one to two inches of rain possible.
