The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission took action on two items of business Thursday on projects in North Central Arkansas.

Approval was given on projects totaling $1.59 million to be completed using funds from the Marine Fuel Tax Program. Locally those projects include resurfacing 2.6 miles of county road leading to Boggy Point Road Access on Norfork Lake in Fulton County.

The commission authorized capital projects totaling $2.09 million to be completed using funds from fiscal year 2018 including locally construction of new boat accesses to the White River at White Hole and at Wildcat Shoals and expanding the parking lot at the Ackerman Walk-in Access on the Norfork River. Projects also included stabilizing erosion issues along the shoreline at Snow Access on Crooked Creek.
