Mountain Homes Friday Night Block Party is back this year, ready to kick off their 2018 season on the outdoor stage of the Mountain Home Square. Following a successful first year in 2017, the block party begins on Friday evening, May 11th at 7:00 and continues each Friday night through September 14th.Concerts feature all kinds of music, including rock, classic rock, blues, country, jazz, and a variety of other styles. Food vendors will also be on hand.
Friday Night Block Party is currently seeking well-established, seasoned bands to perform this year. According to Director Ron Shire, this could be a great opportunity to showcase your band at a highly successful venue. Average crowd size for 2017 was around 500 people per event. The last day of the season saw over 1,000 people attend. Musicians who are chosen will be compensated per event.
To qualify, bands should contact Shire at (870) 404-6347 and have any available promotional material ready.
