Photo courtesy of KYTV/KSPRAn employee of a local retail store is accused of stealing merchandise from the business. According to Springfield television stations KYTV and KSPR, 53-year-old Kenneth Smith was arrested by Ozark County deputies and charged with felony stealing.
Smith was employed at Dollar General in Theodosia. According to court documents, Smith allegedly allowed and helped multiple people steal carts full of items without paying the full amount. Deputies report Smith’s activities began in November and continued until earlier this month. Over $16,000 worth of merchandise was allegedly stolen during that time period.
