Isabella teen injured in 1-vehicle accident

A one-vehicle accident Friday morning in Ozark County resulted in minor injuries to an Isabella teenager. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 13-year-old Tyler Garrison was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center from the accident scene in Isabella.

Garrison was a passenger in an SUV driven by 16-year-old Brianna Waynan of Isabella. The pair were traveling northbound on Missouri Route HH when the SUV ran off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. A hospital spokesperson says Garrison is not listed as a patient. Waynan was not injured.

Garrison and Wayman were not wearing safety devices. The SUV had moderate damage in the 7:30 a.m. accident.
