The Lakeview City Council will consider a resolution creating a Celebrate Lakeview Committee when it meets Tuesday evening at 7:00. Mayor Dennis Behling says the resolution is the establishment of a committee in preparation for a community celebration set for September 29th.
The council’s agenda also includes the third reading and consideration for adoption of an ordinance regarding land subdivision regulations. Mayor Behling says the Arkansas Municipal League is advising cities to separate these regulations from their comprehensive development plans. Comprehensive development plans are working documents under the control of planning and zoning commissions.
The council meeting will be held in the Lloyd Travis Municipal Center and is open to the public.
